Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026. This notice explains how we handle personal information when you use our website and consultation services.

1. Who We Are and Our Role

Immigration Answers Help, which operates the Immigration Answers Hotline brand and this website, is the seller and merchant of record for the consultation services described here. Immigration Answers Help is the data controller for personal information collected through this website, which means we determine why and how that information is processed. This notice does not cover information Stripe processes as our payment processor under its own privacy notice.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, account and login information, appointment details, immigration questions and intake responses, communications with us or participating attorneys, support requests, and preferences. We also collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, device and browser identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, and security logs. Stripe collects and processes payment and billing information needed to complete your order.

3. How and Why We Use Information

We use account, contact, intake, and appointment information to create your account, arrange and provide consultations, communicate with you, deliver support, and maintain service records. We use technical and usage information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website, prevent fraud, and understand service performance. We may use contact details for service messages and, with consent where required, marketing communications. We do not sell personal information.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal information when necessary to perform our contract with you, including arranging a purchased consultation; to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and professional obligations; and for our legitimate interests in operating, improving, securing, and preventing misuse of the service. We rely on consent for optional marketing or non-essential cookies where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

5. How We Share Information

We share relevant contact, intake, and appointment information with participating licensed attorneys so they can review and provide consultations. We may share information with service providers supporting hosting, email, communications, analytics, security, scheduling, and customer support; with legal, accounting, and other professional advisers; and with authorities where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. Providers may use information only for the services they perform for us and must protect it appropriately.

6. Payment Information

Immigration Answers Help is the seller and merchant of record for orders placed on this website. Card payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor, which handles checkout, billing data, payment authorization, tax calculation, receipts, and fraud prevention on our behalf. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy practices. Review the Stripe Privacy Policy for details.

7. Data Retention

We generally retain account, consultation, intake, and transaction records for up to seven years after the relevant service or our last interaction, where needed for legal, tax, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, or professional recordkeeping purposes. Routine support messages and technical logs are generally retained for up to two years unless a longer period is needed for a dispute, security investigation, or legal obligation. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We then delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires longer retention.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit where supported, service monitoring, and limiting information access to people who need it. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception or legal obligation applies. You may also complain to the privacy or data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate accounts, security, navigation, and checkout. We may also use analytics cookies to understand site use and marketing cookies only where enabled and permitted. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

11. Contact and Policy Changes

To ask a privacy question or exercise a right, email mycornerstonelawpartners@gmail.com or use our contact page. We may update this notice as our practices or legal obligations change. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
