Terms of Service

1. Seller and Acceptance
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Immigration Answers Help, the seller operating the Immigration Answers Hotline brand and immigrationanswershelpline.com (the “Site”). By accessing or continuing to use the Site, creating an account, or purchasing a consultation, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.
2. Services and Limited Right to Use
Immigration Answers Help connects users with licensed attorneys for paid informational consultations. An attorney may answer questions, explain options, identify risks, and discuss practical next steps. Unless covered by a separate written engagement agreement, a consultation does not include representation, filing applications, preparing documents, or appearing before USCIS, an immigration court, or another agency. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Site for its intended purpose.
3. No Attorney-Client Relationship or General Legal Advice
Using the Site, submitting a form, or booking a consultation does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only through a separate written agreement with a participating attorney. General Site content is educational, not legal advice. Immigration laws change and outcomes depend on individual facts, so Site content is not a substitute for advice about your circumstances.
4. Accounts and Accurate Information
You must provide complete and accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Do not submit another person's confidential information unless you have authority to do so.
5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the Site or services unlawfully; commit fraud, impersonation, harassment, or spam; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; introduce malware; probe, disrupt, bypass, or interfere with security or technical limits; scrape or harvest information through automated means; reverse engineer the service; or resell, redistribute, or exploit the Site without written permission. You are responsible for information you submit and how you use consultation information.
6. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Consultation fees are shown before checkout. Immigration Answers Help is the seller and merchant of record for all orders placed on this website, and we handle customer service inquiries, cancellations, and returns. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor, under Stripe’s terms; we never store your full card details. Our 30-day money-back terms and request instructions are in our Refund Policy. Appointment rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time where reasonably possible.
7. Intellectual Property
Immigration Answers Help and its licensors retain ownership of the Site and its software, text, documentation, design, branding, and other intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit protected material without prior written permission.
8. Availability and Warranties
We may modify or discontinue features and do not guarantee that the Site or consultations will always be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay an amount due, create a security or fraud risk, misuse the service, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. Where appropriate, we may give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. You may stop using the service at any time. Terms concerning payments already due, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute-related obligations survive termination.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Immigration Answers Help and participating attorneys will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from use of the Site or services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed fees you paid for the affected consultation during the preceding six months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised date. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
